I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman

Tick-tock. Tick tock. Time flies.
I'm no longer a teenager. No longer a girl. Not yet a woman.
I'm officially 22 for now.
2nd of April, is the date where I were born.

Here comes the belated birthday post of mine.
Not gonna stay at so called "lovey-dovey" place @ Kampar.
So I headed back to my hometown celebrating my big day.
This year birthday seems kinda special. As I get prank twice.

First, the earliest pre-present I get from bie on March.
Before, receiving this pressie, he tried to come out with a splendid prank.
He fooled me for the very first time.
Yet, I would said quite a big success and surprise.
They said currency rate fluctuate ups and downs over the time.
On that night, my mood fluctuate ups and downs rapidly.
There are tears and happiness.
Sounds stupid, I know.
Anyway I ain't gonna share my long-winded story here.
If you wanna know what's happening.
Ask me personally. :)

Angel rabbit soft toys by Him. Super-duper love.

Second, I get a prank sms from a lovely friend of mine, Miss B.
So called a belated April Fool present that she gave me for my birthday.
Nearly being fool but absolutely not 100%. :D
This has proven that I'm still smart enough to find her weakness. *wee*
Questioning her non-stop instead of answering her question.
So as she. Never even bother to answer a word of my query questions.
In conclusion, I would said a tie match.

On the day of 2nd April, caught him to accompany me whole day long.
We went to Haagen-Dazs to indulge ourselves with tasty, yummy ice-cream.
Fondue.
Consists of mini ice cream scoops, fresh fruits and patisserie in hot chocolate sauce.
Overall, the dessert was very delightful.
However, I dislike the biscuits.
How good it would be, if those biscuits could replace to mini ice-cream scoops or fresh fruit.
I know is impossible. *stop dreaming*
By the way, sweet stuff makes people happy. :)

During night, my beloved parents spare out their precious time celebrating my birthday.
So, we headed to Straits Quay for dinner @ Blue Reef Fish & Chips restaurant.
Waited for 1 and hour hours. Due to full house.
Anyway is worth to wait. Never felt disappointing.
The dishes are delicious.
Mushrooms soup was my favorite. It tastes superb nice and yummy.
Unlike others, served @ Pizza Hut or any other restaurants, which taste like a creamy milk.
Parents, Aunt, Him & Me

Dishes that we ordered,
-That's all for the day.-

Unexpected present received from Daddy.
Never thought I would have one.
Never thought to get it so soon.
Never thought of this is the one. As is out of my expectation wish-list.
Thanks daddy. Thanks for without failing to give me the best.
*appreciate much much*

Present from mummy? Coming soon. *Wide Smile*
Due to some reasons, couldn't get it on time.

Present from Florence. Thanks for the card and present.

Lastly, a slice of Green Tea Cheese cake for the day.
Happy 22nd Birthday to me! :)

Holly Jolly

How was your X'mas?
Did you spent great time with your loves one?
Did this cute lil Santa fulfill your wishes?
I hope you guys had a wonderful, joyful Christmas. (:

Actually, I do not have any X'mas plans in mind except for family dinner. As I just recovered from sick, therefore I do not want to stress myself too much. I should rest more instead. Here comes the plan for that night after I received a called from a friend.
She: Hello, Cheng. I'm back. Do you have any plans for tonight? Any place for countdown?
Me: I thought you only planned for Christmas not eve?!
She: I saw you guys wrote on fb about the plans for Christmas eve.
Me: No. I did not even mention a word about the eve. =.= Did I?
She: Okay. Maybe I see or remember wrongly. So any plan?
Me: Well, why don't we go to somewhere new - Straits Quay.
She: Where is it?
*I should cut off long-winded conversations. N goes straight to the point*

Yep, Straits Quay is the place we were heading for that night. We were amazed by the beautiful lights hanging around the building. It looks so classy. Slap me for refusing to snap any photos by that time but later. Feels regret right now. Cause I thought we might be late for the countdown. My watch was ticking. It's almost time. Everyone crowded around the Christmas tree expecting there are some kind of event or whatever. Then I heard everyone shout out loud. "10, 9, 8... 0. Merry Christmas!" Few minutes later, I take a look at the sky, glance everywhere. Nothing! No fireworks. No event. Then why everybody standing there for so long? *I was wondering* Is there any golds gonna drop from the sky?! The only differences I can see was the lights
everywhere goes off exclude the Christmas tree & decorations. Great! I don't get to take any photo of the lights. *miserable* The atmosphere was kinda odd. Seems like I was guiding the wrong place for countdown. *Ooopps!*

But of course we won't just leave like that. Is time to explore the place!

Feeling the sea breeze. Looking at the twinkle twinkle stars.

That's all for the night.:)

For Christmas, there is a tradition which is the tree. Under the tree, there are presents! Yes, I'm talking about the present. This year, I received great gifts from my beloved parents. ♥

Big big sunglasses

Frustrations no more. No more complains about blurry shots. No more worries. As this baby could help to overcome the problems. *wink* Although it is not as best as dslr, but I believe it performs better than the compact digital camera.
A million thanks to papa & mama. *Love ya always*

Photo me like of the day:
